Important
- Qualifying periods start with the relevant (Indoor, Outdoor or 3D) National Championship.
- CTAF reserves the right to retract awards bestowed upon any archer, if the subsequent conduct of such person dishonours the CTAF Colours, or for any other reason the CTAF Committee deems expedient.
- CTAF Colours are to be approved and signed off by the CTAF Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson or Colour Officer only.
Qualification Criteria for CTAF District Colours
CTAF District Colours eligibility is open to archers who:
- Are a member in good standing of CTAF, AGA-WC, WCIFAA and SANAA at the time scores are recorded.
- Have obtained or exceeded a minimum of four required scores for a category, participating in sanctioned tournaments, within the qualifying period — please refer to Bowscore for qualifying scores.
- Have competed in the relevant Cape Town District Championships for the year in question.
Qualification Criteria for Provincial Colours via CTAF
Provincial Colours via CTAF eligibility is open to archers who:
- Have attained CTAF District Colours for the qualifying period.
- Represent Cape Town District in the age category and division for which they achieved CTAF District Colours, prior to the relevant Provincial Championships of that season.
Please Note
In order to purchase and wear the District Archery Uniform, archers must sign both the Provincial Code of Conduct and the CTAF Dress Code. Archers who do not adhere to these policies may forfeit their Colours entirely.
